Won't be fighting Torres Torres has withdrawn from his scheduled lightweight fight against Beneil Dariush on April 11 due to an undisclosed injury, according to OverDogs Podcast.

Impact Torres was expected to fight for the first time since Dec. 5, when he defeated Grant Dawson to improve to 5-1 since signing with the UFC in 2022. However, the undisclosed injury means "El Loco" will have to wait to make his return to the octagon. Dariush will have to find a new opponent, as the plan for now is to have the fight go through.

Slated to fight Dariush Torres will fight Beneil Dariush at UFC 327 on April 11, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact Torres defeated Grant Dawson in December to improve to 5-1 since signing with the UFC in 2022. His next test will come against an opponent who has no shortage of experience but is trending in the wrong direction, having lost three of his last four fights.

Impact Torres racked up a ton of stoppage wins on the regional scene prior to his UFC arrival, but we see that all the time and it rarely carries over to the highest level. Except in this case. The 30-year-old was at it again here, dropping Dober with a right hand before finishing him off with countless unanswered blows to the side of the head. Torres is now 4-1 in the UFC, with all five fights ending via first-round stoppage. In fact, each of Manuel's last dozen bouts dating back to August 2018 have ended in Round 1. As a result, his cardio remains an open question.
