Impact A former six-fight Bellator veteran, Gibson made his UFC debut in December, dropping a split decision to King Green. He was right back to work here against Hooper and put forth a performance few could have seen coming. Gibson isn't exactly known as a huge finisher, but he parlayed an elbow and a couple massive knees to the face into a shocking stoppage win. Lance is 31 years old and has no history of defeating better competition, so a prolonged string of success seems unlikely, but this was excellent performance.
