Impact Prado isn't going to be happy with this result and he certainly has a legitimate gripe. Of course, the fact it took Prado more than half the fight to get anything going certainly didn't help matters any. He consistently attempted to lean on his wrestling, landing 3-of-10 takedowns for 6:49 worth of control time. Prado's surge in the second-half of the fight was aided by the fact Veretennikov was exhausted. Ultimately, two of the three judges didn't think he did enough to win. Prado is just 23 years old, but he's now lost three straight and four of five with the UFC. He seems like the ideal candidate to be let go, have success on the regional scene, then return to the company at some point down the line.
