Impact Santos' shocking turnaround continues. The Brazilian dropped a unanimous decision to Julio Arce in his UFC debut back in April 2022. Since then, he's won four in a row including a pair via knockout. This win over Yoo may have been the most impressive of the bunch. He dropped a competitive Round 1 before starching Yoo with a sweeping left hook to begin Round 2. The finish followed shortly thereafter. Santos' recent body of work suggests he's due another step up in competition his next time out.

Given new Korean to fight Santos is scheduled to compete against Joo Sang Yoo in a featherweight fight at UFC Perth on Sept. 27, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Santos was scheduled to fight Doo Ho Choi (undisclosed) at UFC Perth, but that is no longer the case. The former's last win comes over another Korean in Jeong Yeong Lee, via decision. Meanwhile, Yoo is looking to immediately build off positive momentum from defeating Jeka Saragih at UFC 316.

Santos is now 3-1 in the UFC and 13-2 professionally. He'll take on another recently solid fighter in Choi, who hasn't lost a fight since 2019 and is 2-0-1 since then.

Wins in return from long layoff Santos defeated Jeong Yeong Lee via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC 315 on Saturday in Montreal.

Impact Santos was due to face Davey Grant in Vegas last month before being forced to withdraw due to a "medical issue." He stepped in here against Lee and got progressively stronger after a lousy start. Santos failed on all five of his Round 1 takedown attempts, but stuck with the game plan. Aided by his exhausted opponent, the Brazilian was able to racked up six takedowns and 4:59 worth of control time in the final two rounds alone, guaranteeing the decision. Santos has fought just three times since October 2022, but he's won each of them.

Impact Santos was scrapped from the bout against Davey Grant at UFC Vegas 105 after going through a medical issue. Willycat will face The Korean Tiger, who is coming off a loss from his fight against Hyder Amil back in July.
