Next fight scheduled Tavares will fight Eryk Anders at UFC Vegas 114 on March 14, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact Tavares has lost three of his last four fights, most recently falling to Robert Bryczek in September. Desperate to get back on track, Tavares will get a chance to get back in the win column against Anders, who is also coming off a loss in his most recent bout.

Finished by Robert Bryczek Tavares lost to Robert Bryczek via TKO (punches) at 1:43 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Paris.

Impact This was a concerning performance from Tavares on multiple fronts. Entering as a -200 favorite, he was dropped by Bryczek and nearly put away on multiple occasions in Round 1. Brad was able to survive and actually come back to win Round 2 on all three scorecards, but he got trapped along the fence early in Round 3 and was eventually put away. These type of sparring matches are typically the type of fights in which Tavares excels. The fact he was dominated so thoroughly on the feet by Bryczek is terrifying in regards to what to expect from the veteran moving forward. Tavares will be 38 years old in December and has lost three of four dating back to February 2024.

Bryczek up next Tavares is scheduled to compete against Robert Bryczek in a middleweight fight at UFC Paris on Sept. 6, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Brad clearly isn't what he was earlier in his career, but Meerschaert's striking has been below-average for years and Tavares was able to take advantage and easily bank two rounds. Gerald managed to make a little offensive headway in Round 3, but the damage was already done. A member of the UFC roster for the better part of the past 14 years, Tavares should continue to get notable fights as a well-respected member of the promotion.
