Impact Elekana will look to run his winning streak to three against a reasonable opponent in Tafa who has last three of his last four. Despite back-to-back wins, Elekana has absorbed more significant strikes than he has landed through three fights, though he's set up well here with two-inch reach edge over Tafa.

Picks up second straight win Elekana defeated Kevin Christian via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:01 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact It was a complete effort from Elekana as a -275 favorite. He and the debuting Christian fought to even terms early on, at which point Billy dropped his opponent with a sweeping right hand. That put Elekana in position to clamp on the rear-naked choke and earn his second career victory via submission. Billy is just 11 fights deep into his professional career at age 30, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that we get some further improvements moving forward. Elekana has won back-to-back fights on the heels of a submission win to Bogdan Guskov in his company debut back this past January.

Scheduled for Nov. 1 Elekana is scheduled to compete against Kevin Christian in a light heavyweight bout at UFC Fight Night on Nov. 1, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Impact The 30-year-old southpaw will return to the Octagon just over three months after his most recent fight, when he defeated Ibo Aslan via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi on July 26. Elekana holds an 8-2 professional record, with three wins via KO/TKO and one by submission.

Picks up first UFC victory Elekana defeated Ibo Aslan via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.

Impact Elekana made his late-notice UFC debut in January and was submitted by Bogdan Guskov in Round 2. He got another chance here against Aslan with a full training camp and didn't look all that much better, although the end result was much different. In what was one of the most boring fights you will ever see between a pair of big men, Billy did just enough to win. He landed the bigger shots, although there was only about two or three the entire bout. It certainly wasn't the type of performance that will raise Elekana's stock despite emerging with the upset victory.

Impact Elekana and Aslan will try to bounce back from early-2025 losses. In the former's case, he tapped out to Bogdan Guskov at UFC 311. Elekana has a second chance to win in the promotion.
