Again fades after strong start Loosa lost to Phil Rowe via TKO (punches) at 4:03 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Atlanta.

Impact It was a second straight fight in which Loosa faded following a quick start. In this case, he was up 20-18 on all three scorecards and less than a minute away from winning a decision. Loosa won Round 1 on the strength of his wrestling and won Round 2 on the strength of a knockdown in the dying seconds. Visibly exhausted in the final frame, Ange lost his mouthpiece while getting beaten up along the fence and referee Brent McKeehan, a guy we never see working UFC events, never bothered to stop the action to put it back in. Loosa was finished moments later. He has lost two straight and is winless in his past three (0-2, 1NC).

Fighting Rowe in June Loosa will fight Phil Rowe at UFC Atlanta on June 14, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact Loosa is booked for his first fight in 11 months as he takes on Rowe in Atlanta in less than a month. Loosa has not won a fight since September of 2023, so he will be desperate for a result. He has a five-inch height disadvantage and a seven-inch reach disadvantage versus Rowe, so it should be an interesting bout.
