Rescheduled vs Raposo Nascimento will fight Mitch Raposo at UFC Vegas 119 on June 20, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact Nascimento was originally scheduled to fight Raposo this Saturday at UFC Winnipeg, but Raposo was forced to back out due to an illness. The fight has now been rescheduled for two months later in Las Vegas. Nascimento holds a 22-6 professional record, while Raposo is 10-3.

Impact Nascimento was scheduled to face Raposo in a flyweight bout Saturday, but the latter has been deemed unable to compete due to a virus. The fight has now been moved to UFC Fight Night on June 20 in Las Vegas.

Impact Outside of the finish, it was a thoroughly uninspired performance from Nascimento as a -300 favorite. Facing an opponent that accepted this fight a week ago, he did virtually nothing in Round 1 outside of throwing some token leg kicks here and there. He continued the inactivity in Round 2 before finally connecting with a right hand. The force of the blow had Durden in immediate trouble and he left his next exposed as a result. Nascimento took full advantage. The Brazilian is clearly world-class on the mat, yet at 34 years old, Nascimento has fought just five times (4-1) since his October 2021 company debut. He needs to continue to get back in the octagon as frequently as possible, health permitting.

Impact Fighting for the first time since January 2023, Nascimento missed weight by 1.5 pounds and had to forfeit 20 percent of his purse in order for the bout to proceed. He understandably started very slowly, nearing getting submitted at the end of Round 1. Nascimento was never really able to get into any sort of flow offensively, but he managed a couple well-timed positional changes and was able to rack up enough control time over the final two rounds to earn a decision. Already 33 years of age, the Brazilian needs to do whatever possible to get back in the octagon in short order given all his time away.
