Impact A product of Dana White's Contender Series, Thainara made her UFC debut in March and retired Molly McCann with a first-round submission win. She was equally impressive this evening against a better opponent in Lookboonmee. Athletic and physical, Thainara landed 110 total strikes, five takedowns, and 10:02 worth of control time. It was a complete all-around effort against a fighter that entered having won four in a row. It's obviously early, but the early returns regarding Thainara have been exceptional.
