Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

Earlier this year, DraftKings hosted a survey for frequent MMA game players about certain changes and those changes have been made based on feedback.

Everyday, many people from across the country participate on DraftKings. The website is home to a variety of sports, where players can draft a lineup of different athletes and teams who score fantasy points based on their performances. If you’re lucky, you can win a good amount of prize money.

From basketball, to football, and even other sports like golf and NASCAR, if you’re knowledgable and want to put that knowledge to the test to possibly win some money, you have the opportunity of doing so on DraftKings.

One of the sports that is getting more and more popular every single day is MMA. Not only is the sport itself constantly gaining new followers because of the exciting fights, but it’s also gaining momentum on DraftKings.

Earlier this year, the website hosted a survey for frequent MMA game players, which addressed potential changes to the MMA contests. Some of these changes talked about certain tweaks to the rules, such as how many points a fighter should score for specific things, such as significant strikes, takedowns and so on. They even proposed a change to how many fighters a player can draft. On Thursday, the changes were officially made. Check them out below:

Another interesting note is the fighter salaries. Many of the fighters (betting favorites) are a lot cheaper now, but that makes sense, considering that you have to roster six fighters now. Your salary of $50,000 will remain the same.

As you can see, many new changes have come to the MMA games on DraftKings. These new changes definitely cater to those who study these fights since styles will come into play. For example, a grappler can score even more points now since certain statistics, like advancing, reversals, and takedowns produce more fantasy points. It’s very interesting, to say the least.
