Jon Jones poses with title belt, taunts Daniel Cormier
At this point, the social media back-and-forth between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier is almost as big a part of their rivalry as their fighting. Their traded insults range from the silly to downright personal.
In every case, however, both Cormier and Jones never seem to bypass an opportunity to cut one another, deep. They lock up in a light heavyweight title rematch next month.
When they first met, a little over a year ago, Jones was the reigning champion, with Cormier challenging him. After five close rounds of battle, Jones retained his title but the bad blood was far from completely let.
Now, Jones is returning from a year of controversy, suspensions and criminal proceedings, and Cormier is the sitting champion. The thing is, "Bones" still feels like the champ in his own mind.

More than that, he claims that the UFC seems to feel the same way. Jones recently posted a short video on his Twitter account showing him posing with a gold UFC belt for photos.
He claimed that the UFC is having him pose with the belt to prepare for what he (and they) believe is inevitable -- his returning to the 205-pound throne.
"UFC getting content for the future, obviously a very smart organization. They know order will be restored shortly," he wrote, with the above video.
