Dana White: Ronda Rousey is definitely getting an immediate rematch against Holly Holm

Despite being blown out at UFC 193 by Holly Holm in a one-sided fight that ended via KO in the second round, Ronda Rousey appears destined to get an immediate rematch with the new bantamweight champion.

UFC president Dana White told the "Mike & Mike" radio show that because of the fight's marketability and Rousey's past accomplishments, Holm's first title defense will be against the former champ.

"Ronda Rousey has gone undefeated, taken the sport to another level and was beating the best women in the world in 14 seconds or 30 seconds, so she deserves a rematch," White said.

"Holly agrees she deserves a rematch, and we'll figure it out."

Holm has indeed said she would have no problem fighting Rousey again. And, why would she?

Holm won their first fight handily, and Rousey's name brings the biggest money with it. However, Rousey's busy movie-making schedule would appear to stand in the way of a timely rematch, to say nothing of her health after being concussed.

White assured that all that could be worked around. "Yeah, that fight's going to happen. I don't know when, but that's the fight that will happen," he promised.

"I think that if we didn't make the rematch, me and [UFC CEO and co-owner] Lorenzo [Fertitta] should probably lose our promoters' license."
