Neven Subotic's agent has rejected reports linking the Borussia Dortmund defender with a move to Chelsea or Arsenal in January.

Reports have suggested the Blues have targeted a move for the Serbia international in the January transfer window to help solve their defensive problems.

The Premier League champions are struggling at centre-back with John Terry and Alex both sidelined with injuries.

Alex is facing two months out as he requires knee surgery, while the club are yet to find out the full extent of John Terry's nerve problem in his leg.

Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in Subotic but the player's agent, Steve Kelly, insists the 21-year-old is happy in Germany and has no intention of moving on in January.

"I am aware of the latest rumours linking Neven with a move to England, but I can categorically rule out Neven leaving Dortmund in January," Kelly told Sky Sports' website.

"Neven is happy at Dortmund and he is focused on helping them to stay at the top of the Bundesliga."
