Roma strike Destro deal
The 21-year-old has agreed personal terms to keep him at the Stadio Olimpico until June 30, 2017. A statement on Roma's club website read: "Roma announces that it has signed with Genoa an agreement to acquire the temporary playing rights of Mattia Destro for a fee of 11.5million euros. "The agreement, filed today at the offices of the Lega Serie A, also includes the right of option to purchase the player outright, from the 2013-14 season, for 4.5m euros. "Destro has signed a five-year contract with the club, expiring on June 30, 2017. "As part of the same operation, an agreement has also been signed with Genoa to sell outright, with a co-ownership agreement, the rights to Giammario Piscitella and Valerio Verre, with a net consideration of 1.5m euros for each player, for a total equity of 3m euros." Destro scored 12 times in 30 Serie A appearances on loan for Siena last term and was included in Cesare Prandelli's provisional Italy squad for Euro 2012.
