CONCACAF third-round line-up complete

The line-up for the third round of CONCACAF's World Cup qualifying tournament was completed tonight as the last four teams sealed their places with a game to spare.

Guatemala and Panama had already qualified and were joined by El Salvador, Guyana and Antigua & Barbuda, who all enjoyed victories, and Canada who got the draw they needed against St Kitts & Nevis.

Guyana beat Caribbean Group B rivals Trinidad & Tobago 2-1 with goals from Ricky Shakes and Charlton defender Leon Cort, Stoke striker Kenwyne Jones pulling one back in the last minute.

Bermuda beat Barbados by the same scoreline, Khano Smith and Kwame Steede overhauling an early goal from Barbados youngster Diquan Adamson.

There was a similar story in Group A, where El Salvador beat their nearest rivals Suriname 3-1 thanks to two goals from Mark Lester Blanco and one from Ramon Sanchez, Eveni Esperance pulling one back late on.

The Dominican Republic hammered the Cayman Islands 4-0 in the group's other game, with Erick Ozuna on target for the fourth game in succession.

Group F saw the pattern repeated again, with Antigua & Barbuda ending Haiti's pursuit of top spot with a 1-0 win over their rivals. Kerry Skepple scored the only goal in the 82nd minute.

Elsewhere in the same group, Richmar Siberie's early brace helped Curacao to a 3-0 win over the US Virgin Islands.

A goalless draw was sufficient for Canada in Basseterre, while Hector Ramos' double helped Puerto Rico to a 4-0 win over St Lucia in Group D's other game.

Guatemala beat Grenada 3-0 and Belize drew 1-1 with St Vincent & the Grenadines in Group E while in Panama's Group C, Nicaragua beat Dominica 1-0.

The six qualifiers progress to join Jamaica, the United States, Costa Rica, Mexico, Cuba and Honduras in the third stage.
