Barcelona says center back Gerard Pique will be out for the next 15 days due to a muscle tear in his right leg.
The Spanish international injured his leg during Saturday's 3-0 win over Racing Santander.
Pique will miss Wednesday's Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen and, unless he recovers faster than expected, upcoming Spanish league games against Sevilla, Granada and Mallorca.
Pique has already missed various games with a muscle tear in his left leg, and new signings Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez are currently out with hamstring injuries.
