You've got the wrong guy: Fans mistake Sam Hornish Jr. for Martin Truex Jr.

Of the four championship contenders going for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, there is no doubt Martin Truex Jr. fulfills the underdog roll. 

The Furniture Row Racing driver is going up against one of NASCAR's most legendary drivers in Jeff Gordon, the defending Sprint Cup champion Kevin Harvick and one of the sport's most polarizing and successful drivers in Kyle Busch. 

While Truex is in his 10th full time Sprint Cup season, apparently a pair of fans at Homestead still don't know who he is.

NASCAR fan John Drover posted a picture on Twitter saying he was hanging out with Truex at the track, but there was just one problem. Instead of posing for a picture with Truex, Drover was standing with Richard Petty Motorsports driver Sam Hornish Jr. 

Truex and his fellow Sprint Cup competitors had a little fun with the fan's mistake.   

Drover eventually realized his mistake and held out hope of eventually meeting the real Martin Truex Jr.
