Wild reassign 12 players, training camp roster at 39

The Minnesota Wild trimmed their training camp roster to 39 players Friday after reassigning 10 players to Iowa of the American Hockey League and sending two players back to their junior teams.

Those sent to Iowa include goaltenders John Curry, who appeared in two games for Minnesota last season, and Johan Gustafsson, a sixth-round draft pick in 2010 who appeared in 40 games for Iowa last season in his professional debut,  right wing Kurtis Gabriel, a third-round pick in 2013, and 2012 second-round pick left wing Raphael Bussieres.

Others sent to Iowa were defensemen Corbin Baldwin, Alex Gudbranson and Colton Jobke and forwards Brady Brassart, Zack Mitchell and Ryan Walters.

Defensemen Dylan Labbe and Hunter Warner were sent back to their junior teams.
