Watch Ichiro once again joke about rats, Kansas City and a wool sock

In a 2007 interview, Bob Costas asked Ichiro Suzuki, who only occasionally speaks English publicly, to share his favorite American expression. The answer shocked everyone.

"August in Kansas City, is hotter than two rats in a [expletive] wool sock." (Here's link to the totally NSFW video.)

In an interview with Costas that aired Monday, the 41-year-old outfielder discussed his desire to continue playing baseball, reaching 3,000 career hits, and watching Giants ace Madison Bumgarner in the playoffs.

But we're here now because Ichiro dropped his favorite American expression once again, with a slight modification recognizing the Royals' incredible run in the 2014 postseason. (NSFW!)

We hope Ichiro enjoys one more good year in the bigs and then immediately joins a booth somewhere to offer color commentating.
