Two must-see plays from Seahawks-Texans game (GIFs)
By Sam Gardner, FOXSports.com The undefeated Seattle Seahawks put years of tip drill experience to work with a hot potato-esque interception in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. The timely interception ended a promising Texans drive at the Seattle 9-yard line:
The pick was just as impressive from the reverse angle, as well:
After taking over on offense, a holding call and false start penalty backed the Seahawks up to their own 2-yard line. But Marshawn Lynch quickly improved the visitors’ field position with a 43-yard run, discarding several Houston defenders like empty Skittles bags along the way:
Unfortunately, the good news would end there for Seattle. After a 7-yard run on the play after Lynch’s impressive feat of balance and strength, Seahawks backup Robert Turbin was swallowed behind the line of scrimmage by J.J. Watt. And after a sack of Russell Wilson, Seattle was forced to punt. (GIFs via Gifdsports, Deadspin and The Big Lead)
