Sick picks for Week 9: Tip drills rule the day around NFL

Last week was all about the impressive catches.
The tides turned in Week 9, however, as there were several impressive defensive plays throughout the NFL. So, let's take a look at some of the plays that turned heads.
1. Bruce Irvin
The Seahawks linebacker came up big against the Oakland Raiders, as he tipped a Derek Carr pass, stayed with the play and brought down the interception. He then managed to keep his feet and ran it all the way to the end zone for the touchdown:

Fat guy interception!
4. Antoine Bethea
The 49ers defender gets some serious air against the Rams in the first half:
5. Richard Sherman

Sherman must have been relieved to end his interception-less streak.
6. J.T. Thomas III
The Jaguars linebacker got the benefit of a truly poor throw by Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton:

7. Brandon Browner
The Patriots cornerback is making his presence felt in his first season in New England. On Sunday, he was able to get the ball after it bounced off Wes Welker's hands:
