Shayna Baszler out of TUF Nations Finale, search for replacement underway
Former Ultimate Fighter 18 competitor Shayna Baszler will have to wait even longer to make her UFC debut after suffering an undisclosed injury that has forced her out of the upcoming TUF Nations finale card on April 16 in Canada.
UFC officials confirmed Baszler's exit from the card on Tuesday, and now the search begins for a new opponent to face former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman.
Bummer, @QoSBaszler is out of @UltimateFighter Nations Finale bout with @mmasarah due to injury. Any bantamweight ladies ready to step up?

Baszler was coming to the UFC after a short campaign on TUF 18, where she was coached by women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, before being eliminated by eventual show winner Julianna Pena.
A foot injury kept Baszler from fighting at the TUF 18 finale show last year, and now another injury has sidelined the veteran competitor for an undisclosed amount of time.
With almost exactly two weeks to go until the TUF Nations finale card, the UFC and matchmakers will scramble to hopefully find another opponent to step in and face Kaufman on short notice.
