Ravens rookie RB arrested, charged with pair of misdemeanors

Police in Virginia say Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro was arrested over the weekend and charged with destruction of property and being drunk in public.
Taliaferro was in his hometown of Williamsburg, Va., when, according to a police report, an officer heard loud cursing from a group of people getting out of a cab just past 1 a.m. on a Saturday morning.
The driver of the cab claims that Taliaferro broke a window in his car. The arresting officer tracked the fourth-round pick nearby and took him into custody.
Williamsburg police major Greg Riley told the Baltimore Sun that Taliaferro was arrested without incident. Both the charges he faces are misdemeanors.
The rookie is the fourth Ravens player to get himself into legal trouble this offseason. Ray Rice has been charged with felony aggravated assault and was accepted into a pretrial diversion program; Deonte Thompson had a felony possession of marijuana case dismissed; and offensive lineman Jah Reid has a misdemeanor battery charge pending.
