ATLANTA -- Matt Ryan needed only one yard to become entrenched in Falcons history.
On Sunday, the seventh-year quarterback tossed a simple 1-yard TD pass to tight end Levine Toilolo in the third quarter ... but it was enough to clinch his 154th career touchdown pass, eclipsing the record of Steve Bartkowski.
Ryan, the Falcons' all-time leading passer (23,472 yards heading into the season opener), broke Bartkowski's passing record at the end of the last season (Week 17). And likely next week (against Cincinnati), he'll surpass Bartkowski's franchise mark for attempted passes (3,330).

In other words, it's possible that Ryan will break three Bartkowski records in three consecutive games.
