Popovich prepares for season by hilariously punking reporter

Gregg Popovich is a funny man.

The Spurs coach proved this once again on Monday when he turned an interview with NBA TV into an awkward, cringe-worthy encounter all for a laugh.

Popovich quickly got "annoyed" with the reporter for asking about his beard. Then he told the reporter he had his facts wrong about a question. Then he gave a short, non-answer to a question about new San Antonio forward LaMarcus Aldridge.

After all that, Popovich unleashed his "gotcha" on the guy and explained that he was just trying to practice for his usual gruff "I can't be bothered" regular-season interviews.
