Peyton Manning will undergo MRI on knee, says he's 'pretty sore'

By Andy Nesbitt, FOXSports.com Uh-oh, Broncos fans. While Denver improved to 8-1 with a 28-20 victory over the Chargers on Sunday, Peyton Manning said after the game that he's "pretty sore" after taking a helmet to the knee late in the game and will undergo an MRI on Monday.

Manning stayed in the game after taking the hit, but could be seen limping around. Manning has been dealing with a few injuries already this season as he sprained both ankles in a loss against the Colts in Week 7. The Broncos later tweeted about Peyton's status for next week's showdown with the Chiefs:
