NFL Week 6 Fantasy Recap

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

I had a decent Saturday in the world of Fantasy, but Sunday was not as kind to me. A review of week 6’s picks.

QB

My first pick at quarterback last week was Alex Smith. Smith managed to throw for 222 yards which could have gotten him at least a decent score with a couple of touchdowns, but all he added to that was -1 rushing yards. He finished the week with 8.86 DraftKings points.

Brock Osweiler, my second pick, managed a better week. Osweiler threw for a total of 269 yards and 2 touchdowns, but also had an interception. That line garnered Osweiler 17.36 fantasy points.

    RB

Ryan Matthews was a pretty big bust. Matthews was my first pick at running bak and only rushed for 60 yards, getting 6 total fantasy points.

My second pick Christine Michael was more productive rushing for 64 yards and two scores, while also catching 3 passes for 19 yards, finishing with 23.3 fantasy points on the week.

    WR

Jeremy Maclin was another rough pick on the weekend. If Alex Smith didn’t throw any touchdowns, then we know Maclin didn’t catch any. and to top it off he only caught 3 passes for 49 yards. Finishing with 7.9 fantasy points.

And my second pick was another decent one paired with the bad. Michael Thomas only had 78 receiving yards on 5 receptions. One of those catches however did go for a score, bringing his fantasy total to 18.8 DraftKings points.
