NFL Week 6 awards: Best and worst from Sunday's action

By Andy Nesbitt, FOXSports.comBest reaction by a defensive coordinator after being told by his parents that he can't borrow their car for the night ... oops, we mean after being burned by Tom Brady with 5 seconds left: Rob Ryan, New Orleans Saints. Brady hit Kenbrell Thompkins for a game-winning TD ... and Rob Ryan didn't take it well:
Best game-winning TD pass for a three-time Super Bowl winner: Tom Brady, New England Patriots. Just when it looked like the Patriots were going to lose their second game in a row and people were going to start wondering what's wrong with Brady, the Pats QB did this with five second left:

Best high-five fail by a three-time Super Bowl winner: Tom Brady, New England Patriots. All Brady wanted was some love from WR Julian Edelman. But it didn't happen. Instead, hilarity happened:

Worst post-game sweater worn by a three-time Super Bowl champ: Tom Brady, New England Patriots. OK, Brady was a hero again Sunday. But not even he can pull of this look:

Worst behavior by an NFL fan base: Houston Texans. We're not talking about every Houston Texans fan, just the classless ones who cheered when Matt Schaub got hurt.
Best blocked field goal returned for a TD: Jason McCourty, Tennessee Titans. A whole lot went wrong for the Seahawks on this play, but they were still able to beat the Titans. The best part might be watching kicker Jon Ryan try to avoid a hit at the end, because we all remember what happened to Jon Ryan last week.

Worst TD celebration: Joseph Fauria, Detroit Lions. The rookie tight end likes to have fun when he scores. And on Sunday he scored three times. His first celebration, however, didn't really win us over. He went on to dunk the football over the upright and then did the cabbage patch dance on his third one. Appreciate his effort, but he can do better than this:
Best job of returning a punt for a TD without being touched: Dwayne Harris, Dallas Cowboys. Harris fired up the folks in Dallas on Sunday night with this electrifying 86-yard punt return:

Worst job of running down the sideline without bumping into an assistant coach: This ref in Dallas during Harris' TD return:

Best halftime show that featured live dogs racing: Cleveland. Well, this happened Sunday and we're not sure what to think of it. This much we do know: That little brown and black dog needs to focus less on trying to bite other dogs and more on trying to win races because that little fella could have easily taken first place if he had just stayed focused on the task at hand.

Worst play when facing 3rd-and-48: Oakland Raiders. What do you do when you need to go almost half the length of the field for a first down? Not this:

Worst attempt at a tackle by a kicker: Steven Hauschka, Seattle Seahawks. Let's give Hauschka credit for at least trying to make a play. Let's not give him credit, however, for what happened when he tried to make a play:

Best fumble recovery by a QB: Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks. Wilson later said of this play, "I felt like I was playing shortstop again." While we don't really get what he meant there, we do get that he's pretty good at football.

Most painful way to celebrate a TD: Emmanuel Sanders, Pittsburgh Steelers. It's probably pretty exciting to score a TD in an NFL game. We'll never know for sure. But if we did score we probably wouldn't do this (or maybe we would):

Unlikeliest way to get a first down: Baltimore Ravens. The defending champs were just trying to do the smart thing when they opted to punt in the second quarter. But then something amazing happened. And by amazing we mean Packers FB John Kuhn made an amazingly bad decision as he touched the ball after a blocked punt and the Ravens recovered for the first down:

Best hit that reminds us Troy Polamalu still plays in the NFL: Troy Polamalu, Pittsburgh Steelers. Cheer up, people of Pittsburgh. The Steelers finally got their first win of the season! If only the Pirates could hit like this:

Best Matt Schaub impersonation: T.J. Yates, Houston Texans. Yates entered the game after Schaub went down with an ankle injury and did this:

Most painful block on somebody who didn't see it coming (TIE): Tedd Ginn, Carolina Panthers. Poor Xavier Rhodes. Who's that? Oh, just the Vikings CB who was trying to chase down Brandon LaFell when this happened:

Most painful block on somebody who didn't see it coming (TIE): NaVorro Bowman, San Francisco 49ers. Arizona Cardinals WR Andre Roberts thought was about to make a tackle after an interception. And then he was introduced to Bowman:

Best quote by a frustrated coach whose team was picked by many to go to the Super Bowl but is now 2-4 after losing to the Rams: Gary Kubiak, Houston Texans. Not much is going right for the Texans right now. Kubiak summed up his team's struggles pretty well right here:
"We have a lot of issues as a team, coaching and playing. Today was a great indicator." Kubiak #Texans — Houston Texans (@HoustonTexans) October 13, 2013
Worst attempt at a backhanded pass: Brandon Weeden, Cleveland Browns. If you're a little kid who dreams of one day becoming an NFL QB please don't watch the GIF below:

Worst tackling by an NFL team: Buffalo Bills. Giovani Bernard made Buffalo's defense look a little silly on this TD reception.

Worst deal on Mark Sanchez gear: A merchandise booth at MetLife Stadium. Fans at the Jets' home stadium Sunday had the chance to buy Sanchez stuff at 50 percent off. That still seems a little high to us.
Mark Sanchez a goner? According to this MetLife Stadium concession stand, the answer is Yes. #Jets pic.twitter.com/6f9GhoksCu — Jason Klein (@JasonKlein24) October 13, 2013
