NFL Fantasy Football: Week 10 injury report
We are supplying information on the latest and most important injuries across the NFL and letting you know how it could affect your fantasy football team.
Quarterbacks
Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is listed as questionable.
The Spin: It looks like “Fitztragic” will play on Sunday but it’s not a sure thing. Nobody in their right mind is starting him in fantasy leagues but it will be a slight downgrade to this offense if Bryce Petty plays.
Running Backs
Rams RB Todd Gurley is listed as questionable.
The Spin: It doesn’t appear Gurley is in any danger of missing this game. However, in a tough game he could disappoint just like he has most of the 2016 season.
Falcons RB Tevin Coleman is listed as out.
The Spin: Coleman will miss yet another game. This means Devonta Freeman will see a full complement of snaps and touches.
Buccaneers RB Jacquizz Rodgers is listed as out.
The Spin: It was fun while it lasted but it seems Rodgers has no more fantasy value. Doug Martin is close to returning and Charles Sims could return from injured reserve at some point.
Buccaneers RB Doug Martin is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Martin will be a true game-time decision. Even if he is active it’s hard to trust him because he will more than likely be eased back into action.
Packers RB James Starks is listed as questionable.
The Spin: There’s no way you are playing Starks even if he is active. However, Ty Montgomery owners would like to see him inactive.
49ers RB Carlos Hyde is listed as questionable.
The Spin: If Hyde is active, he’ll be hard to trust because he’ll be less than 100% and has a tough matchup against the Cardinals. It will be an easier situation to read if he’s inactive because DuJuan Harris will obviously see a full complement of snaps and touches.
Seahawks RB Christine Michael is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Michael was a late addition to the injury report which is never good. If he can’t go, C.J. Prosise will see a serious uptick in snaps and touches. The Seahawks don’t play until Sunday Night Football so be ready one way or another.
Wide Receivers
Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin is listed as out.
The Spin: He hasn’t been a good fantasy football asset this year but owners need to find a different WR3 option for this week.
Texans WR Will Fuller is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Fuller should play but isn’t a good play this week in fantasy football.
Jaguars WR Allen Hurns is listed as questionable.
The Spin: He will be a game-time decision after suffering a concussion last week. He’s already a WR3 but in a tough matchup at less than 100%, owners should already have a replacement in mind.
Redskins WR DeSean Jackson is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Despite being listed as “questionable” D-Jax is more than likely going to miss Sunday’s game. Even if he does play, he’s a boom-or-bust WR3.
Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Landry should be playing on Sunday but it’s not guaranteed. Keep in mind the Dolphins and Chargers play at 4:05 EST. Owners should have Landry in their FLEX spot and have a backup option ready to go if he can’t play.
Charges WR Travis Benjamin is listed as doubtful.
The Spin: A doubtful tag means Benjamin is as good as out for Sunday.
Chargers WR Tyrell Williams is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Owners don’t need to worry because Williams will be playing on Sunday. With Travis Benjamin more than likely out for this game, Williams will operate as the Chargers No.1 WR.
Dallas WR Dez Bryant is listed as questionable.
The Spin: His playing status isn’t in question. He’s playing. Yet, his production and chemistry with quarterback Dak Prescott is in question.
Patriots WR Julian Edelman is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Edelman is playing.
Tight Ends
Falcons TE Jacob Tamme is listed as out.
The Spin: Tamme wasn’t a great option this week against the Eagles but it’s worth noting. Owners need to look elsewhere if they were depending on Tamme this week.
Chargers TE Hunter Henry is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Henry should be good to go for Sunday. With Henry and Antonio Gates both expected to play, both tight ends are TE2’s.
Patriots TE Martellus Bennett is listed as questionable.
The Spin: Anytime a New England Patriot is listed as questionable he is likely to play and this is no different. Bennett will be playing but keep in mind he hasn’t done much since his three touchdown performance back in Week 5.
DFS Nuggets
Texans DT Vince Wilfork is listed as questionable. If he can’t go, this will be an upgrade for Chris Ivory who already finds himself in a good matchup. Ivory is a cheap option and gives owners the luxury of loading up in other areas.
Eagles CB Leodis McKelvin is listed as questionable. Not that you need an extra reason to pay up for Julio Jones but here’s one anyways. If the Eagles No.1 cornerback can’t go, Jones gets another upgrade.
Pittsburgh WRs Darrius Heyward-Bey and Markus Wheaton are both listed as out. With both of these wide receivers out, both Eli Rogers and Sammie Coates are cheap plays and should see an uptick in targets.
Keep a close eye on Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise. The Seahawks coaching staff has talked about getting him more involved. If Christine Michael misses this game, the one-time college wide receiver should see a lot of playing time and targets in the passing game.
With Jeremy Maclin out, playmaking wide receiver Tyreek Hill is a cheap option who only needs a couple of receptions to pay dividends.
