NFL DFS Week 7: Top Cash Lineup
Back at it for NFL DFS week 7 top cash lineup. It’s hard to believe the NFL season has almost reached its half way point and we will soon see which teams are going to be making that playoff run. We’ve had some big time surprises this year. I expected to see a little drop off from the Carolina Panthers, but not to the tune of opening up 1-5. Minnesota and Dallas are leading their divisions after both teams lost their starting quarterback before the season started. Minnesota also lost Adrian Peterson and is looking like the team to beat in the NFC with Sam Bradford and a NASTY defense. The Patriots are also a little surprising going 3-1 without Tom Brady, it’s not so much winning without Tom, it was impressive watching them adapt to their opponent each week.
As we move into week 7 I’m taking a 5-1 record in cash games with me. Last week was an easy cashing week as my main cash game lineup put up 138.94 points. It was another disappointing week for my GPP lineup, I just can’t get it right. I thought Pittsburgh would put up some points early and force Miami to throw. Tannehill is good in garbage time, but last week he didn’t have to throw much. Jay Ajayi and the Miami Dolphins offensive line just dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers, Big Ben got hurt, and my money was lit on fire! This week I’m going to spare everyone the trash of my GPP lineup and only give my top cash lineup. Once again this if for the main slate on Fanduel only.

This week we have some great matchups for running backs. I tried to balance my cash game roster as well as I could but ended up spending down at wide receiver a little because that is where I felt the better value was. We have a couple of games with a total over 50 and I tried my best to get exposure to each of those. I couldn’t fit all the studs in my lineup, but where I spent down I see a chance at a good return.
The two games I wanted exposure to today in my cash lineup is the San Diego Chargers at the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints at the Kansas City Chiefs. Both of those games have a total above 50 and I think both games end up fairly high scoring.
Matt Ryan returns home to face a Chargers defense that has given up a lot of points this season. I paired him up with Julio, who is likely going to be the highest owned wideout this week.
DeMarco Murray is a workhorse back that is in a great matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, who have given up a TON of points to the running back position this season. I think Murray is the absolute best option at the position today. The 2nd best option in my opinion is Spencer Ware. He gets New Orleans at home and Jamaal Charles is likely out. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ware is the best fantasy back today.
To go with Julio at WR I had to spend down a little. I went with Tyrell Williams and Michael Thomas. San Diego is going to have to keep up with Atlanta and I think Williams will get a ton of action today. He only needs about 12 points to return value today and I think he gets it. Michael Thomas is quietly becoming a go to guy for Drew Brees. He is getting targets and is finding his way into the endzone lately with a TD in each of his last 3 games. Look for Brees to continue to throw to him today as he will draw the weaker links of that good KC secondary.
Jack Doyle gets my nod at TE. He’s cheap, Andrew Luck will have to throw a ton today and Doyle gets a boost with Dwayne Allen questionable to play today. Doyle should get to the 10 point mark which is exactly what you want in a cash game when you pay $4,700 for a player. Matt Prater gets the nod at kicker, and Minnesota is the defense I’m rolling with today.
I think this lineup gets to that 125 point mark which should easily cash across the board. Good luck to everyone today!
