Mike Priefer isn't going anywhere.

The special teams assistant who came under fire recently after former punter Chris Kluwe alleged that he made homophobic remarks, will be a part of new head coach Mike Zimmer's staff. Priefer has been steadfast in his denial that he made any such remarks. Several current Vikings players stepped up and defended him publicly.

Kluwe said later that he "may have been a little too harsh" on Priefer.

OK, no problem. Moving on!

Rounding out the Vikings' new coaching staff is the well-known Norv Turner as offensive coordinator. Norv's son Scott will be the quarterbacks coach. George Edwards takes over as the new defensive coordinator.
