New Browns WR Austin reaches out to Kosar about jersey number

In a good-will gesture, new Browns wide receiver Miles Austin reached out to former Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar.
Austin, who wore No. 19 the past seven seasons with the Cowboys, sent a text asking Kosar if he would mind if Austin could wear No. 19 with the Browns.
The story was reported by ESPN 850 WKNR and hosts Mark "Munch" Bishop, as well as Tony Rizzo.

FOX Sports Ohio confirmed that a text was sent from Austin, which stated in part that he would "wear with pride and the utmost respect," and Kosar went to Twitter to share his feelings.
Although the number has not been retired, only one player has worn No. 19 since Kosar was released during the 1993 season by Bill Belichick. Former Browns wide receiver Frisman Jackson wore the number for the 2004 season.
