Mizzou hires Ofodile as recruiting coordinator
COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Missouri has hired A.J. Ofodile, a former tight end with the Tigers, as director of recruiting operations.
The 42-year-old Ofodile, who also played in the NFL, has been head coach at Columbia Rock Bridge High since 2003. He was offensive coordinator under new Missouri head coach Barry Odom from 2001-02.
Ofodile was a first-team All-Big Eight selection in 1993 at Missouri. He was a fifth-round draft pick in 1994 by Buffalo and spent six years in the NFL with the Bills, Steelers and Ravens through 1999.
