Kurt Warner says invite to workout for NFL team was April Fools' joke

Wednesday morning, former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner sent the following tweet.

Obviously, an NFL team even considering the thought of employing a 43-year-old QB who hasn't played professionally since 2009 is going to become news.

And it did.

However, Warner put an end to the charade on Friday when he revealed that he was pulling an April Fools' joke with his original tweet.

Yeah, it's kind of funny how the story took on a life of its own on social media since WARNER WAS THE ONE WHO TWEETED IT!
