Jets players celebrate when owner decides to keep Rex Ryan

Some people find Rex Ryan annoying. Maybe that's fair.

I'm not one of those people and apparently, neither are the New York Jets players. In the moments after the team's 20-7 victory over the Dolphins on Sunday, team owner Woody Johnson announced to the locker room that the team would retain Ryan for the 2014 season.

The reaction was ... intense. Players mobbed Sexy Rexy with congratulations and loud cheers. General manager John Idzik, thought all season to be waiting for the first chance to fire Ryan, also made some heartfelt comments that made Ryan get visibly emotional.
