How they voted: Badgers in the 2015 AP football poll (Week 8)

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 9:21 p.m. ET

Is Wisconsin worthy of being ranked in the top 25? Yes, the Badgers are 5-2 . . . but, really, who have they beaten?

Nebraska could turn out to be a decent win, but Miami (Ohio), Troy, Hawaii and Purdue is the equivalent of Moe, Larry, Curly and Shemp in the college football world. The counter argument would be that once you get in that 25 range of teams, they all have their warts.

Well, at three Associated Press poll voters feel the Badgers are in fact a top-25 team.

After not receiving a vote in the AP poll the previous two weeks, Wisconsin got eight votes in the Week 8 poll, all coming from three voters.

Instead of presenting the full list of voters, since most did not have Wisconsin on their ballot, we'll just present the three who had UW ranked and where:

Brian Howell, Daily Camera: 25.

John Wilner, San Jose Mercury News: 23 (has Temple at 24 and Toledo at 25).

Sam McKewon, Omaha World-Herald: 22 (has Houston at 23, Georgia at 24 and Mississippi at 25).
