Heat send Goran Dragic home from road trip with calf injury

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Goran Dragic of the Miami Heat will miss at least three games with a strained left calf, and has been sent home from the team's road trip.

Dragic won't play Wednesday at the Los Angeles Clippers, Friday in Denver and Sunday in Oklahoma City. The earliest he could return to the lineup is Tuesday when Miami hosts Milwaukee.

Dragic has had pain in that calf for weeks, and it's since worsened. He's averaging 12.3 points and 5.0 assists this season. He'll have an MRI in Miami.

It's the latest in a rash of recent injuries for the Heat. Dwyane Wade and Tyler Johnson have shoulder issues, Josh McRoberts has missed more than a month with a knee problem and Hassan Whiteside is dealing with knee pain.
