Eli Manning fights tears at Tom Coughlin's news conference

Saying goodbye to Tom Coughlin on Tuesday was not easy for Eli Manning.

The Giants quarterback fought back tears while his lips quivered as Coughlin heaped praise on him during his exit news conference.

When talking about Eli taking responsibility for the Giants' losing, Coughlin, who has been Manning's only head coach since he was drafted in 2004, explained that it was a team effort.

"It's not you," Coughlin said to his signal caller. "It's not you. It's us."

As you'll see above, those powerful words got to Manning, who grew more and more emotional.
