Eagles LT didn't know starting QB Foles left game with injury

Jason Peters can't be blamed for having a lot on his mind during games.

The Philadelphia Eagles starting left tackle is usually preoccupied with blocking the opposing defense's best pass rusher and other such things. However, this might be a bit ridiculous.

Peters opened up after his team's victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday, saying he didn't realize that starting quarterback Nick Foles had left with an injury. Foles suffered an injury to his clavicle in the first half and didn't return, leaving backup Mark Sanchez in charge. The latter didn't waste time, unleashing a sweet pass to Jeremy Maclin right away.

That was when Peters realized Nick was gone.

"... I turned around to congratulate [Foles] and it was Sanchez. I didn't even know [Foles] was out until then. I started looking for him, but he went in for X-rays," Peter said.

Wow. You can check out Peters' amusing comments below.
