Du'Vonta Lampkin not playing in Sooners' season opener

Du'Vonta Lampkin, who was released from his National Letter of Intent from Texas earlier this week, is not in uniform today for the Sooners.

The defensive tackle had been practicing with the Sooners for the past two weeks, but Tweeted earlier this morning he wouldn't be at the game.

Coach Bob Stoops said Lampkin was given a scholarship earlier this week.
