After miraculously walking away from a terrifying crash during Sunday's Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway, Austin Dillon acknowledged the crowd by raising both hands in the air.
You may not have realized that the gesture is the signature celebration of the late, great bull rider Lane Frost.
It wasn't lost on Dale Earnhardt Jr. and little brother Ty Dillon - both commented on the tribute.
Here's another look at Dillon, as well as a video of Frost. Both are definitely examples of extreme toughness.
