Cueto joins Kansas City with a royal reception
On Sunday, the Cincinnati Reds traded starting pitcher Johnny Cueto to the Kansas City Royals for a trio of pitching prospects.
Tuesday, Cueto arrived in Cleveland, where the Royals are in the midst of a three-game series against the Indians, to join his new teammates.
Cueto was greeted there with a royal reception. The Royals hope Cueto can give them the boost they need to reach the playoffs - and World Series - for the second consecutive year.

This season with the Reds, Cueto was 7-6 with a 2.32 ERA in 19 starts. The right-hander has struck out 120 in 130.2 innings, while walking just 29. Cueto will make his first start for the Royals on Friday against the Blue Jays.
