Cardinals will need to boost recent interleague scoring pace
If the St. Louis Cardinals are to win the two games they'll play against the White Sox at Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field this week, they'll probably need to score more runs than they have been in interleague games of late.
The Cardinals have scored just one run in four straight interleague games. Only two teams all-time (the 2003-04 Dodgers and 2007 Braves) have ever been held to one or zero runs in five consecutive interleague games.
The Cardinals and Chicago White Sox have played a very even series in their interleague history. Just one game and five runs separate the teams.

Michael Wacha, who will start the first game of the series Tuesday night, began the season with some unbelievable numbers on the road, but he has shown signs he is human over his last three road starts.
