Bucks sign first-round pick Vaughn to rookie contract

The Bucks announced Friday that they have signed first-round pick Rashad Vaughn.

As per team policy, the terms of the rookie contract were not disclosed.

Milwaukee drafted Vaughn with the 17th overall pick in June. A 6-foot-6 guard from UNLV, Vaughn was named the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year and was Honorable Mention All-League last season. Considered a proficient shooter, he averaged a team-high 17.8 points, along with 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the Rebels.

Just 18 years old, Vaughn has averaged 16.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists in five games for Milwaukee's summer league team.
