TAMPA, Fla. -- A trick-shot artist is coming to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bucs made a series of minor roster moves Wednesday, signing four players and waiving three. But one addition stands out: Quarterback Alex Tanney.

His YouTube video titled, "Alex Tanney Trick Shot Quarterback -- Better Than Johnny Mac," was uploaded in February 2011 and went viral. It has received more than 3.9 million views.

Tanney’s NFL career, though, has included far smaller numbers. The Monmouth (Illinois) College product entered the league as a college free agent in 2012, and he has produced no stats in brief stints with the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns. Standing at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, he set the all-time NCAA record for career touchdown passes with 157.

Tanney joins a roster that includes quarterbacks Josh McCown, Mike Glennon and Mike Kafka.

In addition to Tanney, the Bucs announced the signings of tight end Cameron Brate, wide receiver Quintin Payton and tight end Ian Thompson. They waived defensive lineman David Hunter, punter Jacob Schum and quarterback Brett Smith.
