Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel catches a pass -- but it doesn't count

Johnny Manziel hit the field again for the Cleveland Browns Sunday - and this time he showed off new skills.
On a second-and-11 in the second quarter, Manziel appeared to be coming off the field after running a play under center. Instead, he stood on the field by the sideline appearing to have a conversation with offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan.
But in a matter of seconds, Manziel was bolting down the sideline and making a grab from quarterback Brian Hoyer.
Unfortunately for Manziel and the Browns, the 39-yard reception was called back due to an illegal shift on running back Terrance West. FOX Sports officiating expert Mike Pereira said the play shouldn't have counted even without West's penalty as Manziel's positioning was also illegal.
Still, many on social media were so enamored with Manziel's pass-catching abilities to the level that "Johnny Megatron" became a top trending topic in the United States after the play.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton already morphed into a wide receiver Sunday. Manziel was oh so close to his first NFL reception in his second NFL game seeing action.
