Angels announce 2016 Opening Day roster

Here they are ladies and gentlemen, you're Angels' 2016 Opening Day roster:

Included on the team's 25-man roster for Opening Day are many of the usual suspects including Mike Trout, Albert Pujols and Kole Calhoun but there are a few surprises.

Ji-Man Choi looks to have edged out the competition for the Angels' final bench spot, while pitcher CJ Wilson starts the season on the disabled list due to shoulder soreness.

Another Angels pitcher, Tyler Skaggs, is also not on the list as he will continue his rehab in the minors after promising appearances in spring following an 18-month rehab from Tommy John surgery.

The Angels square of with the Chicago Cubs on Monday. FOX Sports West's Opening Day coverage of the game begins at 6p.
