Watch: Rick Nash's amazing off-balance goal leads Rangers past Stars

Scoring goals with your feet planted on solid ground is overrated.

Or at least that's what New York Rangers winger Rick Nash seems to think.

With New York locked in a 2-2 tie vs. the Dallas Stars with two minutes to play in the third period Friday, Nash crashed the net as a deflected shot from teammate Chris Kreider bounced off Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen's upper chest.

The rolling puck popped out to the top of the crease, where a Nash was fighting off a check.

The tally was Nash's 10th of the season and his third in the past three games after recording only seven goals over his first 26 contests of 2013-14. Will this be the one that really gets the former winner of the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy going?
