The Stars have signed goalie Brent Krahn contract for next season.

Krahn played 22 games for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League this season, winning 17 games with five shutouts and a 1.83 goals-against average. Krahn's two-way contract allows for different salaries, depending on if he plays in the NHL or the minor leagues.

Dallas also Tuesday extended qualifying offers to nine restricted free agents - left wingers James Neal and Fabian Brunnstrom; defensemen Matt Niskanen, Maxime Fortunus, Nicklas Grossman and Trevor Ludwig; centers Aaron Gagnon and Perttu Lindgren; and right winger Raymond Sawada.

The Stars are eligible for compensation if any of those players sign with another team.
