Report: No teams inquiring about former Leafs' coach Randy Carlyle's services

Just two weeks into the season, there are already plenty of rumors about coaches whose jobs could be on the line, but according to SportsNet, no team has showed any serious interest so far in hiring former Leafs coach Randy Carlyle.

Carlyle's name has come up in the NHL rumor mill as a possible coach for the Anaheim Ducks, who are off to a disappointing 1-3-1 start under current coach Bruce Boudreau. Carlyle coached the Ducks for a little over six seasons and was fired mid-season on Nov. 30 2011 after a terrible start to the season. The Ducks won a Cup under Carlyle in 2006-07.

Carlyle served as Toronto's coach for parts of four seasons and was fired in January of last season as the Leafs started a horrific slide in the second half of the season which cemented the beginning of the organization's rebuilding process.
